For this projects I designed two ‘heroes of letters and numbers’ for a educational game, targeted at children in 3 different age groups. The client wanted to have one basic style that can be adjusted to the different age groups, to make sure children of different ages (4 to 12) felt connected to the product.
I have set up an energetic, friendly cartoony style focused on shapes that varies from simple, big and round shapes for younger children to more edgy and complicated shapes for the older group. The use of black in the design helped to add contrast and power, but also make the characters feel more modern.
